The Curse of Chucky is a supernatural slasher film that was released on October 8, 2013. It is the sixth installment in the Child's Play franchise and serves as a direct sequel to the previous film, Seed of Chucky. The movie was written and directed by Don Mancini, who also created the original Child's Play films. Brad Dourif reprises his role as the voice of Chucky, the serial killer whose soul inhabits a doll. The plot follows Nica Pierce, a paraplegic woman who receives a mysterious package containing a Good Guy doll.
